Where Kids Go

Sunday services take place in the main sanctuary. Children of any age are welcome throughout the service. Prior to Pastor's sermon, he invites all children in the congregation up for a children's message. This is a time when children typically between 2 and 10 meet with Pastor up front as he explains God's word in a way that is much more understandable to them.

Following the children's message, children in Grades K-4 are invited to Sunday School in Room A-14/A-15. This runs concurrently with the remainder of 10:30 Contemporary service, typically 11am-12:00pm. On special occasions such as baptisms or school performances, Sunday school will start a bit later. We also offer various Sunday School classes and Bible Studies for those in Grade 5 through College age starting at 12:00pm.

There is also a nursery available with rocking chairs. Parents and their very small children are welcome to use the nursery during some or all of the service if they so desire. From the nursery, service can be seen and heard in a more private setting.

Scripture

"While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. And there were shepherds living out in the fields se he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child."
